Legends in Concert Series Presents the Oak Ridge Boys
After touring together for over 50 years, the iconic Oak Ridge Boys are retiring from touring in 2024. We are so honored to have been chosen as one of their last performances. Their songs are the storybooks of our lives - “Elvira,” “Thank God for Kids,” “American Made,” and “Bobbie Sue” are just a few of their chart toppers that we have all grown up listening to. Having racked up awards from every music association, including Grammys, the Oak Ridge Boys are also esteemed members of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Don’t miss out on one of their final performances when they bring their American Made Farewell Tour to UNA’s Norton Auditorium on March 3.
Legends in Concert Series Presents -
Lee Greenwood is known for writing and recording "God Bless the U.S.A.." in the early 1980s, and later "God Bless You Canada". The song gained renewed popularity following the launch of Operation: Desert Storm in 1991, and again, 10 years later, following the September 11, 2001, attacks. "God Bless the U.S.A." re-entered the top 20 of the country charts in late 2001. He won a CMA male vocalist of the year award - Was voted American Music Awards male vocalist of the year - and a Grammy award winner. Come hear Lee Greenwood as he plays all his classic hits, along with getting us in the holiday spirits.

2018 Bids & Blues Auction
The annual Shoals Scholar Dollars Bids and Blues Auction is here again, and we are ready to dig into Handy Festival Week by providing all sorts of exciting items and packages to auction to the residents of the Shoals! Some of them are new and fresh-picked making a first appearance, and some packages are back by popular demand.
On top of the live auction, expect several silent auction sections, a mystery bag event, a wine pull, a couple of SUPER FUN games, and of course burgers catered by our friends at the Marriott. Tickets are $30, and that includes your seat and the food mentioned above.
Our new "Heads-or-Tails" game was such a hit last year that we are bringing the fun back to you for 2018! Everyone who purchases Mardi Gras beads will have the opportunity to stand up and decide whether to put their hands on their head or on their “tail”. When we flip the coin a correct guess keeps you in but an incorrect guess knocks you out of the game.
--Heads: hands on your head, you stay in!
--Tails: hands on your head, you’re out!!
There's no telling what you will win! Will you be the last one standing?
Stay tuned for a link to purchase tickets online!
